About this Giving Opportunity
The Chemical Education Foundation (CEF) was created in 1989 as the community outreach arm of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD). Its mission is to share the value of chemistry with Kindergarten through eighth grade students and their teachers through accessible education programs and hands on experiences and activities. The goal is to create excitement for chemistry and sciences with children young enough to still be open to this guidance and influence, with the goal of having a better educated “science based” populace and to build a pipeline of future employees for the business of chemistry.
